Global Empower was founded by an extraordinary woman whose journey embodies the spirit of perseverance and triumph against the odds. Growing up in the vibrant yet challenging townships of South Africa, she experienced firsthand the realities of attending schools with inadequate resources. Despite these obstacles, her determination and resilience propelled her forward, making her one of the few who succeeded in reaching the University of Cape Town.

Her academic journey at one of South Africa’s premier institutions was a testament to her grit. After University, she spent a decade working for major corporations like Media 24 and Times Media, where she honed her skills and gained valuable experience. However, her social entrepreneurial spirit called her to venture out on her own. Facing numerous challenges as an entrepreneur, she realized the importance of support systems and resources in ensuring the success of budding businesses.

Driven by her experiences and a deep desire to make a difference, she founded Edu Empower SA and Global Empower. Her vision was clear: to pass the baton and create pathways for those coming behind her, making their journey a little easier. She understood that many give up along the way due to hardships and lack of support, and she was determined to change that narrative.
