Enterprise Development Gala Dinner - Terms and Conditions
Representative Requirement: Each participating company is obligated to have a representative in attendance to accept their recognition at the event. Failure to do so will result in forfeiting the recognition.
Event Dress Code: This is a black-tie event. All attendees are required to adhere to the formal dress code.
Branding and Publication: By attending the event, all participants agree to have their brands and images published across Global Empowerco and EDU Empower SA (PTY) LTD websites, publications, and partner platforms.
Cancellations and Refunds:
A 25% cancellation fee will apply for all cancellations.
No cancellations will be accepted within 20 days before the event.
All bookings must be accompanied by a 50% deposit within 7 working days of booking.
The remaining balance must be paid in full at least 30 days before the event.
Accuracy of Information: Each company is responsible for verifying and approving the accuracy of their Enterprise Development Initiative information to be published in the ED Business Guide (EDBG) Publication. Global Empowerco shall not be held liable for any errors or inaccuracies.
Liability: Global Empowerco shall not be held responsible for any loss of life, injury, or damage (including, but not limited to, property damage and indirect or consequential damages) suffered by the Client or any Guest, unless such injury, death, or damages arise from gross negligence by Global Empowerco, its employees, contractors, sub-contractors, or suppliers.
Indemnity: The client indemnifies Global Empowerco and Edu Empower PTY LTD against any claims arising from such incidents, except in cases of gross negligence by Global Empowerco.
Force Majeure: If unforeseen circumstances, such as Acts of God (natural disasters), riots, strikes, industrial action (excluding a party's own employees), warfare, fire, or other events beyond the reasonable control of either party prevent the fulfillment of obligations under this agreement, both parties will enter into negotiations in good faith to modify the agreement accordingly. Neither party will be liable for failure to fulfill obligations due to these conditions.
Venue Change: Please note that the event venue is subject to change based on the final number of attendees. All guests will be notified promptly if any changes occur. Thank you for your understanding.
Assignment of Rights: The client may not cede or assign any of their rights or obligations under this contract or these terms and conditions.
Disclaimer: Global Empowerco and EDU Empower PTY LTD shall not be liable for any action, claim, loss, or costs arising out of any loss or damage to property, physical injury, or death sustained by the Client or its Guests in connection with the event.
These terms and conditions form part of the contract between Global Empowerco and the client for attendance at the Enterprise Development Gala Dinner.
